Etihad Zurmati is Afghanistan’s first modern cold storage company, created to strengthen and modernize the country’s agricultural and food supply chain through international-standard cold storage solutions. Developed in response to major post-harvest losses caused by limited temperature-controlled storage and weak logistics, we help protect the value of Afghanistan’s fruits, vegetables, dairy, meat, and other perishables. Our multi-purpose facilities provide cold storage and freezing services, along with packaging, handling, logistics support, and export facilitation to preserve quality and extend shelf life. With a total storage capacity of 1,500 metric tons and the technical capability to design and construct customized cold storage units from as small as 5 metric tons to large-scale facilities, we serve farmers, exporters, wholesalers, NGOs, investors, and other partners nationwide. By reducing waste and stabilizing supply, Etihad Zurmati helps producers secure fair prices, supports compliance with international quality standards, and contributes to food security and long-term economic development.
